Grants and Reports Writer

CNEWA – Pontifical Mission is seeking a qualified and motivated Grants & Reports Writer to join its Jerusalem office. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, preparing high-quality grant proposals, coordinating donor reporting processes, and supporting communication and fundraising efforts.

The Grants & Reports Writer will work closely with program and management teams to ensure timely submission of proposals and reports while maintaining strong communication with donors and project stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential funding opportunities from institutional and private donors.
  • Write, edit, and coordinate grant proposals, concept notes, applications, and supporting documents 
  • Manage proposal submission processes and ensure timely submission of all required materials.
  • Develop and maintain proposals and report calendars.
  • Coordinate with project teams regarding donor requests, clarifications, and follow-up
  • Track project reporting schedules and prepare progress and final donor reports.
  • Assist in drafting and editing official correspondence, fundraising materials, and public information content
  • Prepare communication materials for social media platforms, newsletters, blogs, and publications
  • Support the development of annual strategic plans and reports.
  • Research and maintain updated socio-economic, humanitarian, and statistical information relevant to programs and donor priorities.
  • Conduct regular visits to project sites and coordinate with stakeholders as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, international development, business administration, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in grant writing, donor reporting, or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing proposals and reports for institutional donors, including EU agencies, UN organizations, USAID, church-based donors, and international NGOs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • A valid driving license is preferred.
